What We Can Help With
We provide individualized support based on your needs and what you are experiencing.
-
Anxiety is a normal emotion that we all experience. That being said, sometimes anxiety can feel out of proportion to the situation or happen far too often. If you find that anxiety is preventing you from doing the things you like or want to do, affecting your sleep, or interfering with your quality of life, talking with a counselor may be helpful.
You don't have to navigate anxiety on your own. Counseling can provide a supportive space to better understand your anxiety, develop coping skills, and find ways to manage anxious thoughts and feelings so they don't get in the way of living the life you want.
-
Sometimes we don't realize we're in over our heads until we're drowning. Whether you have a lot going on at work or college, relationships with family or friends are changing, or life is changing in ways you never expected, stress and burnout can leave you feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. Perfectionism can add another layer, making it difficult to slow down, set realistic expectations, or feel like you're doing enough.
Therapy can help you recognize the patterns that may be contributing to stress and burnout before you reach the point of drowning. Together, we can explore healthy boundaries, communication, and coping skills to help you manage stress, reduce overwhelm, and create a more balanced life.
-
Depression is not just feeling sad. It can also leave you feeling lonely, hopeless, or lacking motivation. You may find that things you once enjoyed no longer bring you the same sense of joy. Depression can affect how you feel, think, sleep, work, and interact with the people around you.
Therapy can provide a supportive space to explore what may be contributing to how you're feeling and identify ways to cope and make meaningful changes. Together, we can work on developing strategies to help you feel more connected, regain motivation, and move toward a better quality of life.

We often think of grief as something we experience when we lose someone to death. However, grief can follow any significant loss or ending, including a romantic or friendship breakup, job loss, or a major life change such as receiving a chronic health diagnosis. Grief is a normal process that happens on its own timeline, and it looks different for everyone.
Counseling can provide a supportive space to process the thoughts and feelings that come with loss, especially when you feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck in your grief. Together, we can explore ways to cope with your loss while making space for the emotions and changes that come with it.
-
For those whose pets are family members, the loss of a pet can be particularly painful. Unfortunately, pet loss is often minimized or not fully recognized by our society, which can leave you feeling like your grief isn't understood or validated.
Please know that the grief you are experiencing around the loss of your pet is valid. Whether your family member was furry, feathered, or scaled, your relationship and your loss matter. Therapy can provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can process the loss of your beloved pet without judgment. You don't have to minimize your grief or go through it alone.

It is often said that life is all about change, nothing stays the same. Change can be stressful, regardless of whether it is positive or negative. Change can show up in many ways: career shifts, changes in relationships or family dynamics, moving, becoming an empty nester, or simply finding yourself in a season of life that looks very different from what you expected. Sometimes it can even feel like the universe is out to get you (just kidding).
If you are finding yourself in a season of change, counseling can provide support and a safe place to process your feelings, adjust to what is changing, and explore your options. Together, we can work through the challenges that come with change and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
